Is Vantic really free?

Yes. Every feature, mod, and cosmetic is free forever. There is no paid tier, no subscription, no in client store.

Is Vantic a cheat or hacked client?

No. Vantic only bundles legitimate performance and quality of life mods (FPS, mod optimizations, zoom, HUDs). There are no cheats or anti cheat bypasses.

Will I get banned for using it?

Vantic ships fair, allowed mods, so it is safe on the vast majority of servers. Always check a server's own mod rules. You use any client at your own risk.

What do I need to run it?

A legitimate Minecraft: Java Edition account and Windows. You do NOT need Minecraft already installed. The Vantic launcher signs you in with your Microsoft account and downloads everything for you.

Do I need to buy Minecraft separately?

Yes. Vantic launches your legitimate copy of Minecraft: Java Edition. You still need to own a Minecraft account (Mojang or Microsoft). Vantic is not a way to play Minecraft for free.
